Work closely with local farms

We love to celebrate the seasonality of food and our produce continually evolves with the seasons.  We work closely with our local farms to supply you the very best local produce that is delivered to our door daily. We are genuinely excited when the first crop of asparagus comes in from Tacons Farm – cut that morning and on your dinner plate that evening.  Shortly after the asparagus the strawberries arrive from Tacons – perfectly sweet – picked and delivered to us daily.  Next in are our beautiful pesticide free tomatoes from Meale & sons farm – perfect for dinner with some Fielding Cottage goats cheese, our local salads and a drizzle of Yare Valley extra virgin rapeseed oil dressing!

Early autumn you will be able to enjoy a spectacular range of local apples and pears from White House Farm followed by local squashes, curly kale, tender sprouting broccoli all from Tacons. At Christmas you will be able to order your Peeles Norfolk Black Turkey or our Free Range Norfolk Bronze Turkey as well as your sprout stalks

Locally farmed meat

All our locally farmed meat is prepared and delivered daily by Beehive Butchery.  The team at Beehive are always happy to prepare any meat to your exact requirements and throughout the summer you will find a great range of meat for your BBQ’s.

In addition to our fruit, Veg and meat, you will find a wide range of local produce that includes bread from Breadwinner and the Green Grocers, dressed crabs from Jonas, cheeses from Mrs Temple and Fielding Cottage, award winning dairy from Marybelle, handmade pies from Goulborns, with cakes from Irene’s and Wendy’s.

You will also find free range eggs, our famous “double-yokers” and duck eggs from Watercress lane.  Not forgetting ice cream from Lakenham Creamery and flour from Letheringsett Watermill.
