As the lead organiser Sara’s main focus is on raising awareness, educating and building a free from community where anyone who follows a gluten-free diet will benefit. Sara comes into contact with many people who struggle to find information on the free from diet,recipes to cook, products to buy and places to eat. Her aim is that Your Gluten Freedom will help put an end to this. Her training and workshops aimed at the catering industry help raise awareness and educate staff and management, working towards providing safe food for people with dietary requirements.

Nicky also likes to get involved with the more theatrical side of events. You will find her in the kid’s area telling stories and entertaining the children normally with a nature theme.

Cheryl has grown up in and around public houses. She is a fully qualified tutor and has helped to manage the Foreign and Bottled Beer Bar at Norwich Beer Festival since 2010. She was a member of the CAMRA Committee and in April 2015 qualified as a Beer Sommelier at the Institute of Brewing and Distilling. She believes that she can find a beer for anyone, even if this involves blending beers together to make something you will enjoy and remember.
Your Gluten Freedom are excited to have Cheryl as part of the team and looking forward to her expert advice on picking the right beer and monthly reviews of gluten free beers that are on offer and where to get them.
Diagnosed coeliac image consultant and confidence builder Brenda is a valuable member of the YGF team. At the expo Brenda can be found at the information stand helping those a little lost or looking for something in particular.

Steve started out as a professional chef but now has the responsibility for the education, training and development of a large number of professionals across the service industries including the Hospitality Industry within Norfolk.
Diagnosed Coeliac Steve has been involved in writing and setting standards nationally for chefs training, his experience of having to follow a specific diet and first-hand knowledge has led to being co-author on the text books for professional cookery courses across the country. A winner of the prestigious “Outstanding Achievement Award” at the Norfolk Food and Drink Awards in 2013 in recognition of the contribution made to helping to develop and engage young people into working in the Hospitality Industry across the region.
Steve Has supported Your Gluten freedom from the outset, sharing helpful cookery tips and recipes which can be found on the website, but, if you want to see him in action at our events he can be found on stage demonstrating his amazing cooking skills making it look so very easy and if you listen Steve his favourite saying is “it’s as easy as that! “
